The PasioEssencia story

Founded in San Francisco by Dr. Elena Voss, PasioEssencia Floristry Institute began as a radical experiment: could floral design be taught with the same rigor and replicability as clinical science? From the first cohort of eight students working beneath sterile hoods, we have grown into the world's leading center for evidence-based floristry education.

Our mission

To advance floristry from artisanal craft into a measurable, sanitary, and sustainable discipline that serves both human well-being and ecological responsibility.

Safety first
Zero-tolerance protocols for allergens, bacteria, and cross-contamination in every studio.
Traceability
Full blockchain provenance for every stem used across our curriculum and research projects.
Reproducibility
Every technique documented with measurable outcomes so any graduate can replicate results worldwide.

Methodology

01
Foundation phase

12 weeks of intensive laboratory work covering plant pathology, ethylene management, cut-flower physiology, and sterile bench techniques.

02
Applied phase

20 weeks of structured projects in hospital installations, corporate environments, and controlled sensory studies with documented outcomes.

03
Research phase

Students lead independent thesis work under faculty supervision resulting in published papers and verifiable floral protocols.

04
Mastery certification

Final assessment includes live practical exams, client presentations, and defense of a published methodology portfolio.
